Expectations

Postby hidesagred97 » 07 Nov 2018, 15:18

Hi everyone.
I'm going to be the first one to speak here this year.

I would like to know, what are yours expectations/hopes this year? Do you feel like your are going to achieve it?

I'll try to get a Machine learning internship this year. Probably, it's my last opportunity since I'm studying my last year of Master studies and I'm not sure about doing a PhD.

Sincerely, I'm not sure about getting selected, but it isn't impossible, since last year I got shortlisted and I have improved my background a little.

Good luck!!!

Did you end up being shortlisted this time as well? If so, which position are you aiming for?

Yes! I will apply for position number 5. Due to confidential reasons, (as per asked in the shortlisting email), I can´t detail what postition or company it is.

I am going for a Mechanical engineering internship. This is my first time applying, so I don't really know what to expect.
Well, if I fail this time, I still have two years of Masters to try again.
Good luck to everyone!

It's my first and only chance as well, so I'll be suffering a lot waiting for the final results.

To be honest, just have the opportunity to stay in Japan for a year and work there would be enough for me

But career wise I'd like to focus on machine learning too, I'm applying for a position which also requires some knowledge in 3d drawing. I own a 3d printer and I like 3d stuff in general, so it was a big yes for me!
